Borough Classes – Fridays
You will find the talented Musician Ellie at Bermondsey Village Hall on Fridays. These classes book up very quickly, so get in touch to reserve your space.
Ellie has been singing since the age of 9, and her main passions are choral, jazz, and folk music. She has pursued this love of music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Goldsmiths, University of London, where she is working towards a BA in Education Studies.
Over the years she has run music workshops in primary schools in London and the East Midlands and has been a vocal coach for children participating in music festivals. She is currently coaching for Lewisham Hope for Justice, an environmental project with Lewisham Primary Schools. As well as this she is a trustee, coordinator and teacher at the Happy Music Project, a non-profit organisation that brings music to mental health facilities, nursing homes and schools.
Ellie loves that music allows people to express emotions in a non-verbal way and what she enjoys about music education is that it isn't only results based and that each child's progress is different but just as valuable.
